AquaTale

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AquaTale ("AquaTale", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the app or contact support. AquaTale is a creative aquarium experience designed for families and children with adult supervision.

1. Information We Collect

AquaTale does not require an account and does not ask for a child’s name, email address, precise location, contacts, or other personal profile information. We do not sell personal information.

2. Drawings, Photos, and Camera Access

The app may request access to the camera or allow you to select an image from the photo library so it can turn a drawing into an animated fish. Selected images and drawings are processed on the device to provide this feature. AquaTale does not upload these images to our servers. Camera access can be disabled at any time in iOS Settings.

3. Content Created in the App

Drawings, fish designs, aquarium choices, and related app preferences may be stored locally on the device so the app can provide its features. Deleting the app may remove locally stored content. You are responsible for keeping any separate copies you wish to preserve.

4. Purchases

AquaTale may offer an optional one-time purchase that unlocks PRO features. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store payment card details. Apple may provide limited transaction information needed to confirm or restore access to purchased features. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies.

5. Analytics and Advertising

AquaTale does not include third-party advertising and does not use third-party tracking for targeted advertising. If privacy-preserving diagnostics are added in a future version, this policy will be updated before they are used.

6. Children’s Privacy

AquaTale is designed to be usable without collecting personal information from children. Parents and guardians should supervise camera, photo library, sharing, support email, and purchase activity. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through a support request, contact us so we can delete it.

7. Support Communications

If you contact support, we receive the email address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to provide. We use this information only to respond, investigate problems, maintain appropriate records, and protect the app. Please do not include sensitive information or identifiable photos of children in support messages.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Local app data remains on the device until it is deleted by the user or removed with the app, subject to iOS backup behavior. Support emails are retained only as reasonably necessary to provide help, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of information sent to support by contacting us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as AquaTale develops. The current version and effective date will be posted on this page.
